Side lock holders are one of the most effective and primitive designs of positive locking mechanisms. During milling operation on a tough material with an endmill, we have high torque requirements and the helix angle on the tool creates an axial force which pulls the tool out of the holder. There are various types of Side Lock Holders like End Mill Holder, Whistle Notch Holder.
